| Has anyone in the St. Louis area hear about any restoration Co. doing anything under the table with adjusters to secure jobs? It has been floating around lately and I would like some info. I heard that a few adjusters are getting their pockets lined for pushing towards a certain company. Is this true? |

| This is absolutely true! And it happens all over the country. Not only do companies give adjusters financial kickbacks, they also will do work at their houses for free and other "favors" like this. I have run into this trying to get in with certain companies, they simply won't even give you a chance because these guys are in their pockets. Unfortunately there are greedy, unethical people like this out there who would rather have personal gain over the success of their business and the satisfaction of their customers. |

AM FAM is the worst in STL. or at least they were when i was in business there 10 years ago.
I was approaced in a parking lot by a large loss adjuster from AMFAM in STL their for a kickback. They have one idiot there ( i forget his name) that was actually on the payroll of a local PA. He did this PA's appraisals. I wish I could recall his name so i could slam him in public......but i forget at the moment. I told the claims mgr (ron farber) but he didnt really care that his adjuster was taking money as an employee from a PA.
I think State Farm in STL is honest. I worked for them alot. Never had any issues with pressure for $$$$. |
